FARMINGVILLE, NY — Brookhaven Town will host its annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service Luncheon on Jan. 19 at the Bellport Country Club.
It will run from noon to 3 p.m.
The luncheon honors the life and legacy of King and brings together residents, community organizations, faith-based institutions, and local businesses in the spirit of service and unity, town officials said. In previous years, the event has welcomed more than 300 participants from across the town.
Event highlights include a dynamic lineup of guest speakers, a catered luncheon, scholarship presentations, and a student-centered community service project.
Tickets run $20 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sponsors will receive recognition on the town's website, Channel 18, event signage, and in the event's program.
While tickets will be available at the door, advance online purchases are strongly encouraged. They can be purchased by clicking here.
