LAKE RONKONKOMA, NY — A woman was hurt after a Toyota collided into her Jeep and it flipped over in Lake Ronkonkoma Christmas night, Suffolk police said.
A man was driving a 2017 Toyota westbound on Portion Road, at the intersection of Hawkins Avenue, and had a green light, when a woman driving a 2018 Jeep southbound on Hawkins Avenue was passing through the intersection, police said, adding that the Toyota collided into the Jeep, which overturned.
The woman was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital by ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
